Hide DescriptionShow DescriptionThese Rosemaling Christmas designs capture the beauty of this form of folk art from Norway. This is a stylized art form, consisting of C and S strokes, made in oils. I have worked hard to mimic how the brush strokes blend on the wood, and they are decorated with swirls, scrolls and flowing lines. There are also hellebores, snow covered pines leaves and cones, holly leaves and berries, as well as lilies. Not all of these designs are seasonal which increases options to combine and use them. Try another colour scheme for variety. More details in the PDF which comes when you purchase the designs. There is a wreath in this set which has been split x 4. A template and my Outline alignments stitches will help positions the sections. There is also a version of the full wreath for those who have the Majestic or Dream 360 x 350 hoops.
